Golf Tournament Scholarship

To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a Texas resident, for tuition purposes
-
Be in good academic standing
-
Have demonstrated financial need through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
-
Must be enrolled at least half time
-
Must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program for Fall 2009 at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston

Please note that international students are not eligible to apply

If awarded, each recipient is required to write a thank-you note describing how these monies will benefit you and your plans for the future. Address the note to:

The number of scholarships available and the amount of scholarship awards are based on available funds and these will be divided amongst the various UTHSC-H schools. The actual amounts, once known for the current award year, will be made available in the Office of Student Financial Services. We encourage students to apply and to get their applications in on time.
To apply for these funds, applicants must complete the UT-Houston Golf Tournament Scholarship application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal FAFSA.
The DEADLINE date for completing the scholarship application and FAFSA is November 6 , 2009. Completed forms may be faxed to the Office of Student Financial Services at 713-500-3863.
