1. To be considered in good standing and making satisfactory academic progress for financial aid, a student must maintain a cumulative grade point average for the program of 3.0 or greater.
A student will immediately become ineligible for financial aid when the cumulative grade point average for the program drops below 3.0 or a grade of "F" is received in any course, or fails to meet with his/her advisory committee during each semester.
2. The standard time frame for completion of a master's degree and the maximum time frame for completion of the degree for financial aid eligibility will be based on number of credit hours in the degree program and the number of credit hours of attempted coursework, as follows:

3. A grade of "I" (Incomplete) or a course withdrawal (drop) will be counted in the number of hours of attempted coursework and therefore will count toward the maximum number of hours attempted for financial aid eligibility.
4. A student regains eligibility for financial aid when the student has reattained the minimum grade point average of 3.0 for the program, is within the maximum time frame for completion of the degree, and, if applicable, has retaken and received a passing grade ("B" or better) in any course in which a grade of "F" was received.
5. Each financial aid applicant's academic progress will be officially verified at the end of each term, prior to the disbursement for the upcoming term.
